Bit of…dust

Coat: Primark   Jumper: New Look   Jeans: H&M   Boots: Topshop   Bag: Primark

The invasion of the pink coat is not one you can have missed over the winter, and luckily is still going strong! This one from Primark I actually think is one of the best I've seen, the pale colour and oversized shape were spot on. I must admit this one is also the sisters (she said I have to say something nice about her, so nice coat Claire!).

Remember the boots from here, that I liked due to them being similar to Stella McCartney design, here. Had forgotten about them until having a recent clear out (didn't really end up clearing much out, just looking at all the clothes I owned and don't wear again!) and thought they will do just right for the rain!!! Anything that keeps me slightly away from the puddles are ok with me!

Topshop…shoe edit

Images from:

So am just waiting for someone to be free to take a few outfit ideas I have this week, in the meantime thought would share a few of my items of lust I have seen this week! Basically SHOES!!!! I am trying to be good and only buy the nephew cool shoes at the moment, (as I really don't need anymore!) but when having a look online saw the first platforms back in stock again and I soooo want them, along with the rest of the outfit!

The ones with the outfits, I really want to copy the whole the tartan and buckle platforms (in sale so you know)! Def having a thing for platforms this week, being tall can be tricky though so need to get the right balance, and stay balanced!!!

Jumper: H&M   Scarf: Primark   Headphones: Sony ZX300

So while we were out taking some photos the other day got some close ups of my groovy  Sony headphones as have basically been living in them all the time! Forget how much I love just listening to music, and the headphones are great for doing so without causing too much disturbance, particularly in my flat. Thankfully people can't see me dancing round at the same time!

Like the idea of having them almost as another accessory too, so now tempted with these black and red versions below, or maybe blue ones…hmmm!

Jumper: H&M   Jeans: New Look   Boots: River Island   Bag: Primark   Necklace: Primark   Sunglasses: Primark

There was sunshine the other day, enough to wear some sunglasses whilst driving (and keep them on for the photos!), this makes me very hopeful! It also makes me miss my blue mirrored glasses, seen here, or my "3D cinema glasses" as the brother-in-law called them. Need to get some more…

Finally broke out the boots, wanted to wear for ages but thinking would work with some dresses more, need to wait a bit longer to bare my legs again! On that note I am going to go take advantage of River Island's free shipping till midnight tonight offer…this could be dangerous!!! Check out the website, here, to take advantage!

New Year…choice

Hat: H&M   Dress: Primark   Necklace: Primark   Watch: River Island   Boots: New Look

So actually went for this look on New Year instead, cue me being quite boring in the friends eyes, but sometimes you can't beat an all black ensemble. Makes you feel comfortable and confident and this faux leather mini helps do those things too! Like, with the lining, that it doesn't feel horrid to move in either.

The mirror was a graduation present from my sister, and one of the favourite things in my flat. It is made up of all rolled up magazines and love the star shape, there was plain square ones but that's just boring!!! Hope all your new years have started well and they keep going for 2014!

Top: H&M   Skirt: Primark   Shoes: Topshop

So this was New Year outfit option two, will post up what went with in couple of days. Fear I let down the best friend though as she did spend most of the night going, "well there's not much sparkle about for a New Year", this gorgeous sequin skirt may have helped with that fact!

Was playing about with a camera tripod for these to try and take some more photos myself but the problem is that when you are pushing the button to set it going it's obviously focusing on something not there so when you put yourself into it, it becomes a bit out of focus, grrr, now need a remote! Or a helping hand!

Hat: Primark   Jumper: Primark   Trousers: H&M   Trainers: River Island   Bag: House of Holland   Coat: H&M

I love Tatton Park gardens and these quick pics were taken on Christmas Eve on our walk round them, (you have to have a Christmas walk somewhere!) in fairness I have no idea why we didn't taken some pics in the MUCH warmer greenhouses but hey ho! Love the softness of the knit and the matching beanie - giant bobble ones were where it was at this winter - just have to excuse the craziness of my hair, it was slightly windy!

Another good thing from Christmas is having handy man Dad up to fix my House of Holland bag, the perfect small sized, long strapped bag that can actually fit my camera in. So useful and very annoying when the catch came off, (def from over use!), but Dad and a trip to B&Q soon sorted that out! Miss you guys x

Jumper: Primark   Jeans: H&M   Boots: Primark   Scarf: Primark   Necklace: Primark

Am feeling the check scarves atm! This one particularly was quite handy on a chilly evening when out last weekend! Am also quite loving this double sided one from Zara, or the collection from Locharron on Topshop website (click on the pics below for links):
Still can't quite believe that Christmas is all done with and we'll soon be heading to lighter days and warmer evenings! Maybe a bit off yet! Do love the necklace I found the other week, gives you two chains and a selection of letters to make up what ever you want! Good (or possibly bad) idea!

Let's start…again

Hat: H&M   Top: Vintage   Trousers: H&M   Boots: New Look

So as you have all probably realised haven't been posting for a little while and the reason being (aside for a crazy hectic Christmas period!) is that I kinda wanted to have a bit of a refresh and switch around on the blog. As you may have seen some changes to the site, still somethings I wanna do but thought when better to launch a change than on New Years hey?! If 2013 has been anything, it has been the year of change, some good, some bad, but all leading to a new start…which hope the blog follows on with.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Years, what are the resolutions for this year then? Mine's simple and lil bit cheesy, but is just to do things that make me happy. Have learnt this, sorry last, year that it doesn't have to be crazy extravagant things but little things everyday, seeing certain people and doing certain things. That and dress up more (need to break out some more heels)!!! Well hope everyone likes the changes, any thoughts are much appreciated, and that you all have a loving and beautiful 2014!
