Hat: Primark   Jumper: H&M   Jeans: New Look   Watch: River Island   Trainers: River Island   Sunglasses: H&M   Bag: H&M   Jacket: River Island

So have headed a bit back to the 90s with the baseball hat and polo neck jumper but as soon as I saw the embellishment (and the price!) of this one from Primark just wanted it! Went out for a nice walk with the family yesterday and was good against the cold, though did have to put up with the constant 'do you think you're Rhianna?' jibes from them! Not fair, it's pretty!!!

Stuff I am just generally lusting after this week, what with it being pay day and all, are this jumper from H&M, here, liking the print a lot, this denim dress, here, and this cobalt blue jacket, here, just gorgeous colour and bit of a smarter style, not all together but are just some random things have seen recently. Must be good!

Blue...and green

Jumper: H&M   Trousers: H&M   Trainers: Solestruck   Jacket: River Island   Hand chain: Primark

Went the other day to the cinema so wore this casual outfit with my lovely trainers, really can't wear them too much! Found this scribble jumper again the other day, bought it many years ago but now the neon and text trend has come back round have broken it out again! Could see it in a more retro 90's ensemble with baseball cap, denim cut offs and some white hi-tops.

Been up since ridiculously early just doing random jobs and things, currently renewing the passport as we want to go to New York later this year, anyone know any good places to stay/go? Will, of course, behave like a proper tourist and do all the general sites but sure there's some little gems, like in every town. Lemme know!!!

Imitation...sincerest flattery

First image: mine - Solestruck , designer - Isabel Marant
Second image: mine - Zara, designer - Alexander Wang
Third image: mine - mine - Topshop, designer - Stella McCartney
Fourth image: mine - Kurt Geiger, designer - Louis Vuitton
Fifth image: mine - Topshop, designer - Balenciaga

Following on from the previous post, here, where I wore my monochrome boots found in Topshop sale by lucky chance, and that reminded me of the Stella McCartney style ones seen with them, I got to thinking about the other items I own that have found, or chosen, due to them being quite similar to designer pieces. For example my copies of Isabel Marant trainers found in a little town that you would least expect. I can appreciate why copies of such items are bad but for people like myself, (with only so many funds), when there is a chance to own something that seems a little bit more special than it really is, it is hard to resist.

As you will have seen from previous posts my most recent love are the above Topshop cut out boots, saw someone wearing similar ones with tights, bohemian skirt and double layered denim jacket and larger coat, looked rather good...something to try! Sometimes imitation is definitely flattery!

Friday, 15 February 2013 the snow

Jumper: H&M   Trousers: H&M   Boots: Topshop   Bag: H&M

Post title says what it is really! Did this in the very bizarre weather we had the other day, it was snowing, it was was definitely NOT day hopefully! Can't deny that the monochrome trend may be a slightly big thing at the moment, I must say am quite pleased, as I have said, am generally much more comfy in black and white than colour.

This bag from H&M was perfect for me then, particularly when having an indecisive day. When I first saw it I had assumed it was a black bag or white bag in the same style and went away to decide which one I would prefer, was rather glad it ended up being like this as I was going to get both! Saved me a few pennies!!!

Images from:

Saw these the other day and have been thinking about them since, wanted to get some slipper style shoes but these, with added metal tips are even better! The only problem now is which colour to get? Think I'm edging towards the grey but also really like the white...or the black!

Coat: Primark   Jumper: Primark   Jeans: H&M   Boots: Topshop

If you have been following, on here and things like Twitter/Facebook, you will have seen that I have been after these boots forEVER! (Well since I saw them in January!) The lovely Topshop team tweeted to say they would be back in April but on a chance look this week saw only size 6 online again, bought straight away, and then they were out of stock again, so thinking I got the last pair, yayyyyyyyy!!! Have worn them out today with the overly fluffy jumper and side split skirt, seen before here.

The jacket was quite a find, whilst having a mooch round Selfridges (looking at all the pretty shoes I can't afford) went round the Primark concession in there and found this great trench coat with contrast sleeves. Have been looking for one since seeing on one of the blogs I always check out, here, and then thought, after buying, that would look quite good with the new boots and jeans for a simple look.

Jacket: River Island   Top: Primark   Jeans: Zara   Shoes: Zara   Scarf: Primark   Sunglasses: H&M   Bracelets: Gift

Finally got back to a computer today, these were actually taken on Saturday on a 'let's start the labour' walk. Which it finally did and I am proud to say that on Sunday afternoon we saw the arrival of my beautiful baby nephew!!! Sister did extremely well and are both doing well this week, it has just been a bit crazy running round with other family and work. Nothing like keeping you on your toes!

Speaking of toes mine were friggin' freezing on this day (the sun is very deceptive!) but I couldn't miss a chance to show off the Zara shoes that have been everywhere and I found a pair in my size in their sale on the way into work. Haven't really worn flats for a long time, (even the trainers are heeled!), so these with little heel were good compromise too!

P.S. Check out cheeky baby photo on Twitter feed, here, promise shall try not to be too soppy and gushing!

Just a quick post as yesterday have set up a new shop to go with the blog. Check it out in the page tabs to the left hand side of the page, or via the link, here. At the moment just posted up some shoes for sale, including the above Marni for H&M platform sandals but hope to put up some more clothing and accessories this week. Keep checking out blog and related pages for updates of new items!
