Has only been three days of three weeks whilst I'm in my plaster cast and am already running out of things I can do at home! Suggestions please would be very welcome, by the end of this week will probably have all Christmas cards written and seen all box sets I own...twice!

Is giving me a chance to go through smaller things like accessories, and the rings above. Don't tend to be a massive ring wearer and usually end up getting larger statement rings, like the various animal ones above but would quite like it if could get a few that can easily stack like, here, from Annoushka jewellery (check out the more ideas tab) or, here, from Acessorize. Have also added a couple of additional styles to facebook, here, think will be giving away some jewellery bits soon so keep an eye out for details.

Street scene...shines

Jumper: Primark   Skirt: Primark  Necklace: Topshop

Remember my previous post, here, where I came across these lovelies quite by chance, the above are some of the other items I bought at the time. The skirt is one of those great ones to twirl in but when straight has soft pleats in the top fabric layer.

This year I can see me going a bit crazy with knits over winter, the ever eternal search to find a jumper that is as equally warm as it is pretty (usually when I just end up wearing ones I've had for ages!). Any suggestions? Maybe shall just go for the oversized cardigan instead but then I always want a thick jumper that I can wear out without jackets, maybe that's just wishful thinking in Manchester!

Seeing red...creepers

Blazer: Primark   Grey jumper: H&M mens   Jeans: Red Herring at Debenhams   Shoes: Primark   Watch: River Island   Bag: H&M
Middle photo: Red underground creepers - Topshop - £85

This was what I was wearing when I was having a mammoth shopping session in Topshop the other day, check out pictures on Twitter, here, and Facebook, here. The idea was to get the boyfriend some ideas for Christmas and birthday but got a bit carried away wanting to try everything on. Was having a bit of a thing for red today, apparently, hadn't meant to be quite so coordinated with the shoes, bag and watch but it actually worked well. Men's jumpers are so much better sometimes when like the basic ones that are oversized and are just so much warmer!

On the red theme I did see in Topshop today these platform creepers, here, that I want (and also come in white and red) but when checking online saw the above bright red ones that could have gone with a similar outfit today. Creepers are having a massive come back at the moment and not something I thought I would ever wear but with the heels, or the bright red versions, my opinion is changing!

All that glitters...uses my gold

Glitter brogues: Primark

Fourth photo: Glitter shoes - Topshop

Have had an unexpected day today, went into town to get some more work shoes and this vintage style dress from New Look, here, nether of which I found! At my stop offs at the usual favourites like Topshop was taken in by all the pretty glittery shoes like the boots, similar to Guiseppe Zanotti ones, here, or the shoes, similar to Miu Miu ones worn by Camilla Belle, here. See additional photos on twitter, here.

Anyway on the way back to the train (via Primark) I unexpectedly came across the above beauties and am so pleased as I have been lusting after a pair since I saw one of my favourite bloggers come across some in Topshop in New York, remember I mentioned wheredidugetthat.com in a previous post, here. They are so pretty, as mentioned before am bit of a magpie!!!

Stars...from the past

Jacket: Topshop   Shirt: Primark   Trousers: H&M   Shoes: KG by Kurt Geiger   Necklace: Topshop   Watch: River Island   Bag: H&M
Vest (just seen): H&M

Following on from the star print post, here, I remembered I had this necklace that I love and where the stars loops through each other. Looks good down a plain top so it stands out more.

I like the difference of the oversized shirt (mens) and the tighter trousers that have a zip detail at the ankle so you can have them tight to it, or like here slightly over shoes. These shoes I bought for my birthday last year and I think if anyone made me choose would be my favourites (it would be a very tough choice!) and I don't wear them out often so they don't get ruined, particularly in Manchester with the rain, but need to get out of that...why have them if you don't wear them!

Seeing stars...all day

Top photo: Dress - Topshop £55
Second photo: T-shirt - Dorothy Perkins £24.50
Third photo: Necklace - River Island £10
Fourth photo: Jumper - Topshop £38
Last photo: Blouse - Topshop £38

Am so glad that star prints are making a bit of a come back this autumn, am not really a spot print girl, sometimes a stripe but star prints I like. You could go for the basic t-shirt and jeans, like the one from Dorothy Perkins or the top Topshop dress and my recent shoe boot purchase, here, I like the idea of.

Have got an award ceremony this week, something with a few stars on could be just the right theme...thinking of channeling the Dolce and Gabbana RTW Fall '11 style, here, or, here.
